Setting up and changing autopay

Autopay shows up only when your landlord has turned on online payments. If you do not see Payment settings on the Rent page, ask your landlord in Messages.

You need a saved card. Online bank transfer through Sproutly is not offered right now.

Autopay charges your saved method before rent is due. You choose how many days before, from 0 to 7, or pick one day of the month from 1 to 28. You can also set the most it may charge in one payment. If you share the lease with roommates, autopay charges only your share, and each roommate sets up their own.

You can pause autopay and resume it later. Cancel autopay stops it, and you can turn it on again any time.

1. Open Rent, then choose Payment settings.
2. Under Payment methods, add a card.
3. Under Autopay, choose the method in Pay from, set the days before rent is due or a day of the month, and choose Turn on autopay.
4. To change it, edit the fields and choose Update autopay.
5. To stop for a while, choose Pause autopay. Choose Resume autopay to start again. Choose Cancel autopay to stop it.
