Collecting rent without online payments

You do not need online payments to use Sproutly for rent. Tenants pay you directly by Zelle, bank transfer, check or cash. They follow the payment instructions you set.

Sproutly shows the rent it expects and when, on Money, then Rent. Nothing there needs a tap each month. Payments tenants make through Sproutly record themselves.

If rent does not arrive, choose Report a problem on the Rent page and tick the rent that is missing. If you received part of it, enter that amount. The tenant gets a reminder. Late fees, payment plans and pay-or-quit notices are based on what you reported. If the tenant pays after all, choose Paid after all on that line.

1. Enter your payment instructions under "How tenants pay you" in Settings. A lease can override them.
2. Open Money, then Rent to see the rent you expect this month.
3. If rent does not arrive, choose Report a problem and tick the missing rent.
4. Decide on a late fee or a notice from the Reported list.
