Where to check the rent rules for your city

Some cities run their own rent program on top of state law. Sproutly does not state the cap or who is covered. Each page below links to the official sources. Check them and the state statute (Civ. Code 1947.12) before you raise the rent. A city marked with a star is on Sproutly's list of local programs. The list of places is not complete. A city that is not listed may still have rules.
